Fall Temperatures On The Way

Another warm start to the morning with temperatures staying mostly in the 70s. Big changes on several fronts today. Ahead of the cold front this afternoon, temperatures should reach record highs near 86 at Bush?IAH and Hobby Airports which would break or tie existing records dating back to 1973.
As the front approaches and pushes through winds will increase and wind advisories will be issues along the coastal counties where sustained winds will be between 20 & 30 mph with gusts 35-40mph. Temperatures will drop fairly quickly behind the front with a 20 degree drop through the late afternoon into the evening.

Small Craft Advisories will also be issues as of 6pm until 6am Sunday morning. Look for lows throughout the region Sunday to be in the mid 40s with highs in the mid 60s.
Only slight rain chances as the front pushes through and then clearing and sunny skies Sunday and Monday.
