Solar Eclipse Monday will start warm in the low 80s.
It will be mostly clear but clouds build up by the time we'll see the eclipse at 11:45 a.m. Max eclipse time is 1:16 p.m. and many areas will have to peek through some partly cloudy skies to see the partial eclipse.
Later in the afternoon, showers and thunderstorms will be a touch more widespread, about 30 percent coverage overall.
Rain chances continue to stay around 30 percent to 50 percent through the end of the week and weekend as tropical moisture and a cold front meet up across Texas giving us our best rain chances in a few weeks.
