2 rescued from flooded truck on 99 Grand Parkway at San Jacinto River Bridge

HOUSTON – Two people in a flooded pickup truck were rescued Tuesday morning on the 99 Grand Parkway at the San Jacinto River Bridge.

Houston TranStar cameras showed the two people who climbed onto the bed of the pickup truck to avoid the rising floodwaters. 

A rescue boat then swooped in and both people were able to climb onto the boat and were taken to safety.
