Ariz. flooding prompts water rescues

Flood watch in place until Tuesday morning

APACHE JUNCTION, Arizona - Parts of Arizona are underwater as a powerful storm moved into the area.

The rain began to fall in Apache Junction and prompted at least five water rescues.

A crew saved a mother and her child from a stranded vehicle.

A flash flood watch will remain in effect until Tuesday morning.

The storm is expected to bring at least an inch of rain, large hail and strong winds.
