TXZ183>187-204-219-072000- Val Verde-Edwards-Real-Kerr-Bandera-Medina-Frio- Including the cities of Del Rio, Rocksprings, Leakey, Kerrville, Bandera, Hondo, and Pearsall 906 AM CST Thu Dec 7 2017 ...LIGHT SNOW WILL TRANSITION TO RAIN OVER NEXT SEVERAL HOURS... Light to moderate snow from this morning has resulted in minor accumulations, with some unofficial reports as high as 3 inches, across the Plateau and parts of the western Hill Country. The majority of these accumulations have occurred on grassy surfaces, trees, and elevated surfaces. Most roadways remain open but bridges, overpasses, and lightly traveled roadways could be slick. While periods of light snow or flurries will likely continue through the morning hours, this snowfall is expected to transition back into a mixture of rain and snow or all rain as temperatures slowly rise through the rest of the morning eventually transitioning to all rain by the afternoon hours. When that transition occurs, accumulated snowfall on the ground should decrease as it melts. $$
