Temps fall as cold front moves through

(KPRC)

HOUSTON – Cold north winds are blowing a late winter forecast back into Southeast Texas for the next few days.

Sunday will be quite the change with lows in the 40s and highs only in the upper 50s, with a slight chance for some rain along the coast.

Otherwise, most areas will struggle to see any sunshine as cloudy skies and a steady north wind will make it feel colder than it is.

Monday will be chilly as well with lows in the upper 30s to low 40s and highs in the low 60s with a slight chance of a few showers moving through. But the cold snap will be short-lived as we’ll be back in the 70s by mid-week.

We'll finally warm back up into the 80s by the end of next week in time for the Astros Home Opener.
