HOUSTON – The morning commute could be a mess due to fog, mist and scattered showers. All roads are slick this morning, and it is important to drive with caution.

Fog will improve by noon, but you’ll want to keep your umbrella close Friday as off-and-on showers are expected throughout the day.

Outside of the showers, look for overcast skies Friday with temperatures in the mid-60s.

Look for the clouds to hang around for much of the weekend, with the best rain chances happening Saturday. Temperatures will be mild, climbing into the mid-70s by Sunday.

The next cold front arrives at the end of next week, which will clear out the skies and bring in cooler weather.
