Dramatic temperature swings in the forecast this week in true Houston style

HOUSTON – In true Houston style, dramatic temperature swings are in the forecast this week.

Temperatures were in the mid-70s Sunday afternoon and have tumbled to the 40s Monday morning!  Brisk north winds will add a bite to the air making jackets a must-have item all day.

Temperatures will be cool in the mid-50s Monday afternoon but beautiful sunshine will rule the skies.

As skies clear and winds become calm Monday night temperatures will continue to tumble.

Here is a look at the 10-day forecast for the week of Nov. 26, 2018.

Tuesday morning will be the coldest start this week with temperatures in the 30s. A freeze is not expected in the Metro Area but temperatures could briefly hit 32 degrees from Walker County northward.

Chilly temperatures might make Southeast Texas feel like the holiday season but if warmer temperatures are your preference, a warm-up is on the way and temperatures in the 70s will be back by Thursday.
