After foggy start, Super Bowl Sunday will be warm

HOUSTON – After a foggy start to the day, Super Bowl Sunday will end up being a fairly warm day with more sunshine than clouds.

A dense fog advisory has been issued for much of southeast Texas until 10 a.m.

KPRC 2 meteorologist Khambrel Marshall said temperatures are starting out in the upper 50s and low 60s for most locations this morning.

Clouds will decrease throughout the day, Marshall said. This should allow temperatures to warm into the low 70s.

Expect more clouds than sun on Monday, with temperatures in the mid-60s, Marshall said.

Marshall said the next chance of rain arrives Tuesday.
