Mostly sunny Sunday with highs in the 90s

The low temperature of 72 degrees this morning was nine degrees warmer than normal for this time of the year.

We will have mostly sunny skies today and highs near 92 degrees, again much warmer than the norm of 84 degrees.

Slight rain chances are in the forecast for Tuesday along with a front that will move through and bring cooler temperatures with it. In fact the highs of 84 degrees will be the seasonal norms. They won't last long as highs ease back toward 90 by the end of the week.

"Nate" has behaved as forecast, moving very quickly across the Gulf coast, making landfall just east of Biloxi very early this morning as a Category 1 Hurricane. It very quickly weakened to sustained winds of 45 miles per hour as it continues to move NNE at 23 miles per hour and bringing heavy rain with it to Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee today. Most of the eastern seaboard will be impacted the next two days.
