Saturday temperatures will again be above normal in Houston. Expect highs near 88 degrees under partly to mostly cloudy skies.
Cloud cover will be complements of Hurricane Nate, churning in the central Gulf of Mexico Saturday morning as it prepares for landfall somewhere between New Orleans and Mobile, Alabama.
The outer rain bands of Hurricane Nate will also creep into far southeastern Texas. A few showers may make their way to Houston, but much higher rain chances are in the cards for areas east of the city, like Beaumont and Port Arthur.
