HOUSTON – A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has expired for Harris and Montgomery counties Friday afternoon.
The National Weather Service said around 2:30 p.m. a storm was spotted near Spring moving northwest at 25 mph.
Wind could gust up to 60 mph.
A viewer posted a photo of what appeared to be a funnel cloud in Galveston.

Storms will start to pop around midday and continue through the evening commute. There’s a 40 percent chance for rain with downpours and lightning during after school pick up.
Storms should wrap Friday evening just in time for high school football.
