Heat Advisory issued for SE Texas through Thursday night

Feels-like temperatures between 104-107 degrees

HOUSTON – A Heat Advisory has been issued for Southeast Texas through 8 p.m. Thursday.

It's going to be another hot and steamy day this Thursday. A high of 96 degrees is expected and conditions will be steamy and sticky.

Feels like temperatures will be between 104 and 107 degrees.

The high heat will last through the weekend, but an afternoon shower is possible this Saturday and Sunday.

The rain chances will also be in the forecast throughout next week.

The city of Houston has activated its Heat Emergency Plan. Adults older than 55, and children under the age of 5, are asked to stay indoors and in air conditioning during the hottest part of the day from 1 p.m. through 5 p.m.
