Hot day with slight rain chances; Rivers still rising

HOUSTON, Texas – We wake this Sunday morning to see strong storms well to our west in San Antonio.

Radar shows rain near our western regions but loss of daytime heating and drier air over the Houston area will work to keep it from being a factor in our Sunday weather.

Moist Gulf air continues to flow in from the southeast and will continue Sunday to give us temperatures mostly in the upper 80s with a few 90s possible.

Slight chances again for a few showers and thunderstorms but expect most of us for most of the day to be dry.

Expect a similar trend for your memorial Day with a rainy trend coming back into the forecast late Tuesday into Wednesday.
