HOUSTON – A few lingering showers will be in the Houston area today, but nothing like what we saw Thursday. The heavy rain is moving east of the area.
We'll see temperatures in the 40s for most of the day, but it will feel like in the 30's because of the wind. Those winds will be out of the north at 10-15 miles per hour. Expect a 30 percent chance for rain Friday morning through early afternoon.
Skies will begin to clear as we move into Friday night, allowing temperatures to drop into the 30s overnight Friday night.
The weekend is looking nice with mostly sunny skies, chilly mornings and seasonably cool afternoons. Highs on Saturday will be near 60 and highs on Sunday will reach the mid 60s.
