HOUSTON – Bush Intercontinental Airport is boasting a new honor. It has been named one of the best airports for young travelers.

Trazee Travel, an online publication targeting millennials, voted IAH as one of its top five airports in North America.

The publication gave the airport its "Trazee Winner" status.

According to the city of Houston, some of the features that millennials like about Bush Airport include its free and fast Wi-Fi, power outlets for mobile-device charging throughout the airport, many options for international travel and an abundance of low-cost carriers.

The food is also a plus for young travelers, with affordable choices that include vegan and vegetarian options.

Shopping and an array of parking options also helped Bush Airport land this distinction as a favorite among millennials.
