Lost load of lumber slows traffic on East Freeway for hours
HOUSTON – All lanes are open after a lost load causes some major traffic delays for the morning commute.
Crews worked on cleaning up the load in east Houston that causes backup for people coming out of Baytown.
According to authorities, an 18-wheeler lost its load of lumber, scattering debris on I-10, the East Freeway, near Mercury Drive around 3 a.m. Thursday.
Traffic delays were backed up past Normandy Street and extended almost to the Beltway on both the main lanes and the feeder.
