HOUSTON – A crash closed part of U.S. Highway 290 at Mangum Road on Wednesday morning.
The two-vehicle crash was reported just before 7 a.m. on the eastbound side of the highway, which is also called the Northwest Freeway.

Houston TranStar reported all main lanes of the freeway were blocked. Traffic appeared to be backed up past Bingle Road.
The roadway reopened to traffic at 8:10 a.m.
