Katy RB Brandon Campbell to forego senior season, enroll early at USC
HOUSTON - A day after the Pac-12 Conference pushed its 2020 football season to the spring, now so has one of the country's top recruits. Campbell, a four-star running back prospect in the Class of 2021, announced via his Twitter account Wednesday night that he has decided to forego his senior season and instead prepare to early enroll at USC. Campbell played his junior season for Pearland. Prior to his junior year, Campbell spent his freshman season at Mayde Creek and sophomore year at Katy Taylor. So, if the Pac-12 does indeed play a season in the spring, Campbell could see the gridiron then.

"Sometimes You Have to Be the Change": Four-Star Bobby Taylor Considering HBCU's
HOUSTON It was 1972 and Robert Taylor was attending Texas Southern University when he won a gold and silver medal at the Olympics that summer. Nearly 50 years later, Katy High School cornerback Bobby Taylor the grandson of Robert has received an offer to play at his grandfather's alma mater. In the private college realm, Huston-Tillotson University, Jarvis Christian College, Paul Quinn College, Southwestern Christian College, Texas College and Wiley College meet the criteria. Since his tweet, Texas Southern and Southern University (Both HBCU's) have thrown their hats in the ring for the talented cornerback. Bobby's father played for Notre Dame after a successful high school career at Longview High School before heading into the NFL.
Katy sleeping National Guard photo deleted as a result of criticisms
KATY, Texas โ Katy Footballโs moving photo of National Guard troops sleeping in a Katy High School hallway has been deleted after the owner of the Twitter account said they received criticism for allowing them to sleep on the floor. The original, now-deleted tweet showed dozens of sleeping National Guard troops sleeping in their fatigues along the Katy schoolโs red lockers. The tweet read: โInside of Katy Highโฆ.these are the real heroes.
