"The lab has returned D'Onta's results. He is crystal clean, everything negative for any illicit drugs, marijuana, absolutely nothing. It illustrates what D'Onta has said since his arrest that he was not smoking marijuana. He did not possess marijuana. It makes it clear that he was telling the truth. He was not using marijuana."

According to the University of Texas Police Department, officers responded at 12:24 a.m. that Sunday to reports of a smell of marijuana coming from three vehicles near the southwest side of the San Jacinto residence hall.

Police said all three vehicles had marijuana and Foreman was the owner of a firearm discovered in one of them.

Six other men were cited and released for possession of marijuana. Foreman was taken into custody and was booked into the Travis County Jail.

Following his arrest, the Houston Texans released the following statement on Twitter:

"The Texans are aware of a situation involving D'Onta Foreman. We are gathering additional information and will have no further comment."
