Still no 'Melo as Rockets prepare for matchup with Warriors

HOUSTON – The Rockets hit the practice court Wednesday afternoon at the Toyota Center as they prepared for Thursday’s matchup against the NBA defending champions, the Golden State Warriors.

Once again, Carmelo Anthony was not at Rockets practice.

Anthony has missed the team’s last three games. The 10-time All-Star has played in 10 of the Rockets' 13 games this season.

Last weekend, several reports surfaced saying Anthony and the team will soon part ways.

The Rockets have won two straight games without 'Melo.

James Harden said he likes the direction in which the team is headed.

“It feels like last year. As long as we consistently do that and keep our spirits right and keep guys healthy, you know, we are good,” Harden said.
