HOUSTON – Houston Rockets guard James Harden had an MVP-caliber season and Thursday he received a big honor.
The Beard was named to the All-NBA First Team, along with Russell Westbrook, Lebron James, Kawhi Leonard and Anthony Davis.
Harden was the only player unanimously selected to the all-NBA First Team by the panel of 100 media voters.
Harden averaged 29.1 points, 11.2 assists and 8.1 rebounds this season. The Rockets were eliminated by the San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference semifinals in six games.
This is Harden's 3rd selection to the all-NBA First Team since being acquired by the Rockets in trade from the Thunder five seasons ago.
The second team featured Stephen Curry, Isaiah Thomas, Kevin Durant, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Rudy Gobert.
Making the third team were John Wall, DeMar DeRozan, Jimmy Butler, Draymond Green and DeAndre Jordan.
