Sunday Night Football bus rolls into Houston

HOUSTON – The Houston Texans will host the Indianapolis Colts in the national spotlight on NBC's Sunday Night Football.

Friday morning, the Sunday Night Football bus into Houston and stopped by the KPRC studios.

"We want to give each and every one of our fans an insider look at Sunday Night Football and just get to hang out with them," said Lindsay McCormick, social host for Sunday Night Football.

The bus is filled with football interactive, and fans can experience it for themselves Sunday at Reliant Stadium.

On one of the big screen TVs, the director's cut shows you the game from a production standpoint. You can also watch past interviews with players of the game or virtually get in on the action in the photo booth.

This bus will travel 18,000 miles this season, and at each and every stop, there's one question the fans keep asking: are the players on the bus?

While the players themselves are not on the bus, lucky fans get exclusive access.

Through Twitter, the Sunday Night Football crew selected three fans of the week based on their consistent tweeting about their teams.

Beyond getting to hang out on the bus, the fans of the week will tour Houston landmarks and have a night out on the town before rolling into Reliant Stadium on Sunday.

The fans of the week will get exclusive access to the bus to tailgate before the big game.
The bus will open to all the fans at 5 p.m. Sunday, and for two hours you can explore and have fun with what's inside.

The Sunday Night Football bus will be at KPRC's FFF Game of the Week between Hastings and Elsik at Crump Stadium beginning at 5 p.m. Friday night.

Coverage of the Texans-Colts game begins at 5 p.m. Sunday with KPRC's Texans Pre-Game Special. Immediately following, NBC presents Football Night in America and Sunday Night Football with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. It all airs on KPRC Local 2.
