HOUSTON – Kingwood High School baseball players supported the Astros battling the New York Yankees in the ALCS.
"I think we'll sweep them," junior Luke Johnson said.

"Now to be able to top it off with beating the Yankees, it's going to be pretty special," Coach Kelly Mead said.
Postseason was even more special for the Kingwood High School baseball team. Their school flooded during Hurricane Harvey.
"When I saw it, it was just devastating," senior Garrett Duffy said.
Astros Josh Reddick and Joe Musgrove surprised them with tickets to game one of the ALDS.
"There's nothing like the playoff game. The atmosphere is totally different, it's so much more energy. It was pretty awesome for our kids to experience that," Mead said.
The local players said the Astros can beat the most legendary team in baseball
"I think having home-field advantage to began with is going to give us good start. I'm hoping we can sweep them again," Duffy said.
"I'm excited to see if we'll make it to the World Series and win it," Johnson said.
