Astros Opening Day festivities at Minute Maid Park

Houston hosts Kansas City Royals

HOUSTON – Collin McHugh (0-1) starts Houston's home opener Monday against the Kansas City Royals in a rematch of the 2015 AL Division Series.

McHugh took the loss in the Royals' clinching Game 5 last season, allowing three runs in four innings. He will be opposed by Chris Young.

Monday's game is sold out and fans are encouraged to wear orange in an "Orange Out" of the ballpark.

The Opening Day Street Fest runs from 2 p.m. through 6:30 p.m., with first pitch scheduled for 7:10 p.m.

This year's Street Fest features live music, food trucks, games, and appearances by Astros manager A.J. Hinch, general manager Jeff Luhnow, Preston Tucker, Jake Marisnick and Mike Fiers, along with H-town rapper Bun B.

Before the game, Dallas Keuchel and Carlos Correa will receive their 2015 AL Cy Young and AL Rookie of the Year awards, respectively. Astros' legends Jeff Bagwell and Roger Clemens will make a special appearance.
