HOUSTON – The Astros arrived back in Houston Thursday and are hopefully resting up for a win.

They don’t have much time to prepare for two must-win games against the New York Yankees at Minute Maid Park after a tough loss on the East Coast.

Thousands of fans watched the game during the official watch party at Minute Maid Park. They yelled and cheered even when the team was losing.

“We've got great fans," Mia Huckman said. "They’re a great team. We’re going win the next one for sure.”

Some fans say in order for that to happen, the the team needs to make changes.

“Our bats didn’t wake up for some reason. Maybe the cold weather," Astros fan Otis Bell said. "We basically touched these guys all season until we got to New York so hopefully bats will come alive once we get back home.”

Everyone is seemingly hopeful that the team can win the series.

“Positive thinking I know. Hopefully we’ll come back and win right? That’s the Houston spirit, especially after Hurricane Harvey. We’re so ready to win,” Chiamaka said.

“I think we could do better, but I still have faith," said Ryan Rodriguez. "Go Astros!”

The Astros are down three games to two in the series heading into Game 6. While the team may be down, they're far from out.

The Astros and Yankees meet again Friday at Minute Maid Park. The game begins at 7:08 p.m.
