Prosecutors expect to charge Rougned Odor, the younger brother of a Rangers second baseman who is also named Rougned, and top catching prospect Yohel Pozo. Sources told Yahoo Sports that both players have been told not to leave the country.

The players were questioned about an assault that happened at the Rangers' complex in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic, which took place at the end of October and that was posted on Snapchat, according to sources. Yahoo Sports obtained a 10-second clip, which showed the victim lying on a bed with his arms restrained behind his back and his legs pinned down.

The Rangers released a statement to Yahoo Sports:

"The Texas Rangers became aware of an incident at our Academy in the Dominican Republic, and we acted promptly to open an investigation. We have reported the incident and are cooperating fully with Major League Baseball and the authorities in the Dominican Republic. With this being an ongoing investigation, we will have no further comment at this time."
