Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni released from hospital

HOUSTON – Houston Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni, who was hospitalized since Friday with an intestinal virus, was released from the hospital on Tuesday.

D'Antoni hasn't coached the team's last two games and will not coach Houston's final regular season game on Tuesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Rockets have won six straight games.

D'Antoni is expected to rejoin the team when they arrive back in Houston.

The NBA playoffs begin this weekend.
