What to know if you're going to the Astros' spring training

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Most fans who arrive at spring training are there to see the team, but there are several things fans should put on their list.

Arrive to spring training early

Around 9 a.m. in the morning on home game days, the players practice on the facilities on the side of the ball park.

There are stands for fans to sit and watch batting practice.

It’s a very casual environment where the Astros will interact with fans, and sign baseballs, shirts and caps.

Go to the team store

Inside the team store, Astros fans can find all sorts of clothing and caps that have the spring training logo on it, along with the Astros and World Series title on there.

Snap a pic with a replica of the World Series trophy

On the west side of the ballpark is a large replica of the World Series trophy where fans can take pictures behind a sign that says World Champions.

Work on your putting skills

There is a little green space for people to work on other sports, like getting a hole in one.

Catch a quick game of corn hole

It’s right next to the putting green and the corn holes have the Astros logo on them.

After you work up an appetite, head over to the H-Town Bar and Grille

You can find your traditional ball park items like hot dogs, chicken strips, pretzels and drinks.

If you’re over 21, stop at the beer stand
