Jake Reiner's Super Bowl Sunday with Eagles fans in Philly

PHILADELPHIA – KPRC2 sent reporter Jake Reiner to Philadelphia to cover Eagles fans win or lose on Super Bowl Sunday.

Jake's day was, to say the least, interesting. And with the Eagles topping the Patriots, he got to witness first-hand the chaos of Philly celebrating a championship win.

Saturday Night

The calm before the storm for Jake. He got a chance to see the sights, running up the 'Rocky' steps.

Not the same with a Prince song and not as athletic as Rocky but here’s our hero making his way up the steps. KPRC2 #SBLII #FlyEaglesFly

Sunday Morning

The fun begins. Jake was live outside a sports bar in Philly and got a friendly-bear hug from an Eagles fan, which terrified Jake.

Once inside the sports bar, Jake was immediately welcomed by Eagles fans. They serenaded him with a rendition of 'Fly Eagles Fly.'

And then they initiated him into Eagles fandom by spray-painting his hair green.

Sunday Night

During the Super Bowl, Jake watched the game with Eagles fans. Touchdown!

Our hotel lit up after this #Eagles TD. Watch for the guy who does a lap around the lobby...KPRC2 #SBLII

And then the Eagles made history with the city's first Super Bowl win! Direct quote from Jake from his Facebook Live, "ABSOLUTE MADNESS!"

Eagles fans climbed light poles.

And they shed tears of joy.

Monday Morning

Jake ended his journey early Monday morning with a live shot. And the green dye washed out of his hair!

And about last night...

Many of you have probably seen the video of #Eagles fans diving off of and jumping on top of the Ritz-Carlton awning...well this is the result of that...
