HOUSTON – Friday marks one month since the Astros became Major League Baseball's world champion. But winning the World Series was just the beginning of a very busy month for these players. Here’s a look back at some of the television appearances the Astros made in the past month.

1. Live from New York, it's the world champion Astros!
Jose Altuve, George Springer and Alex Bregman were on "Saturday Night Live" the weekend following their World Series win. They appeared in a funny skit on The Weekend Update, which ended with Altuve sitting on the lap of Leslie Jones.

2. Standing "O" for Altuve
The day after the Astros won the World Series, Jose Altuve appeared on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon." When Altuve walked out, The Roots played the Backstreet Boys hit "I Want It That Way,” an homage to that viral video in which Altuve is seen lip syncing the song in the Astros' clubhouse. And as the music faded and Altuve walked to his seat, the audience gave him a standing ovation. Altuve and Fallon exchanged gifts during the interview: Fallon gave Altuve the same black strips that the second baseman wears under his eyes during games; Altuve gave Fallon a World Champion Astros hat.

3. Carlos, Daniella and Jimmy Fallon
Carlos Correa and his fiancee, Daniella Rodriguez, appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on the Monday following Game 7. You would think most of the interview would have been about baseball, since Correa had just played in one of the best World Series in history, but most of the conversation was about the proposal. Let’s be honest … it’s what we all wanted to hear about anyway.

4. Fallon gets dirt on Verlander-Upton wedding
So Justin Verlander and Kate Upton were sort of busy after the World Series win. They didn’t have time for television appearances right after Game 7 because their wedding was planned for that weekend in Italy. But now, they are back in the states and making the rounds. On Nov. 17, they were on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon," where they revealed details about their wedding, including why they planned it when they did (which resulted in Verlander missing the parade). They also spoke about Hurricane Harvey and its impact on the people of Houston.

5. Carlos Correa meets 4-year-old superfan
This television appearance is our favorite here at KPRC, for obvious reasons. Correa came to our studio to surprise a young fan. Scarlett Sanchez, who became a viral sensation when her family posted a video online in which she cries after learning Correa got engaged. When Correa learned about the video and the heartbroken fan, he said he wanted to meet her. We made that happen on Nov. 7, and the meeting was magical. Correa surprised Scarlett and told her that even though he was engaged to Daniella, the two girls could share him.
