HOUSTON – Two Super Bowl jerseys that were worn by Tom Brady have been returned, according to the FBI.
On Thursday, Brady's Super Bowl 49 and Super Bowl 51 jerseys were returned to Foxboro after a lengthy investigation.
Brady was named the MVP in both games.
The FBI called it a "truly cooperative effort" and especially thanked the FBI field offices in Houston, Chicago and Phoenix, as well as the United States Attorney’s Offices in the Southern District of Texas, the District of Connecticut and the District of Arizona, and the Mexico City Legal Attaché.
They also thanked their law enforcement partners in Mexico for their assistance.
The FBI said since this is an ongoing matter, they had no other comment.
