It feels good

The game tomorrow afternoon at NRG STADIUM will go to the TEXANS.

I rarely make predictions although over the years I have done very well in picking games. Ask Bill Balleza how he got a life size cut out of Frank Billingsley. You can only get one of those by winning the season long NF-HELL POOL and my picks got Bill the prize of the decade. I also won the radio pool and shortly after the station pulled the plug. I saw that as a bunch of sore losers. Back to the business of the Texans winning. First of all, they are home and 7 of the 9 wins have come at the HOUSE THAT BOB BUILT or as I like to call it,  THE ROOF THAT NEVER OPENS.

THE TEXANS have the best quarterback. I know, I know. Connor Cook is making his first start ever and the Michigan St. product will be a nervous wreck. Brock might  be a wreck, but he shouldn't be nervous. Unless his last week's paycheck was only in 6 figures instead of 7.  I have heard various comedy routines regarding the game. Only the qb's should take the field. A cage match with the 2 slugging it out. OF COURSE, Osweiler's fists fly 2 feet over Cook's head and Cookie throws a punch at Brock's feet. That format won't work. Another cartoon had Peyton Manning coming back and quarterbacking BOTH TEAMS.

You could bring in Warren Moon to throw against Jim Plunkett. That combines THROW BACK WEEK with a playoff twist. Nope, straight up is how it's going to play out. THE Texans will win and look forward to being taken apart once against by the Patriots. Brady vs. Osweiler?  Yea, that's tough to call.
