Daily Craig: Things I saw or heard

HOUSTON – OK, It's been a week and it is time for the election signs to come down. You can peel the Sanders bumper stickers too.

I think of all the places I have been to lately and I HONESTLY think it was an all time low for election signs. Maybe I WASN'T LOOKING. Those signs are clearly old school and TV is the way to go. Door to door used to work. Now the candidates are afraid to go out after dark. I don't blame them.

The signs at the U OF HOUSTON should stay up. Tom Herman should stay but I believe he'll be heading out on the next 5 year multi million dollar contract. The Tulane game had the COOGS WINNING but not many saw it in person. You can't stay away just because of losses to NAVY AND SMU. This Thursday the fans will be back. but mostly to see LAMAR JACKSON. JACKSON VS. WARD might be a fight but I would be surprised if it's close.

The TEXANS HEAD COACH (Bill O'Brien) wasn't asked one question about his QB YESTERDAY. WHAT? I must have missed the part where someone on the CURRENT STAFF thinks Brock is doing Ok. The team is clearly the worst 6-3 team in the league. A trip to Mexico is next. I gotta think the RAIDERS will avoid drinking the water at the venue, not sure about the Houston guys.

As for the Cowboys. Here's how you solve the Tony Romo deal.  When the team is 12-1  you rest DAK.  No sense getting him hurt for the playoffs. Tony gets some reps and then you bring back SUPER ROOK for the real deal. Thanks Jerry.
