HOUSTON – The Houston Cougars are in the postseason for the first tme since their NCAA appearance in 2010.
The Cougars, who finished 19-12 this season, will take part in the College Basketball Invitational and open with the Texas Longhorns on Wednesday night.

Texas finished 16-17 after bowing out of the Big 12 Tournament. The Longhorns will miss the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1998.
