Yellow Cab headquarters catches fire

HOUSTON – A northeast Houston building caught fire Monday.

Firefighters were called to the headquarters of Yellow Cab on Hardy at Orr shortly after 6 a.m. The fire started in the paint room and did not appear to be suspicious, officials said.

The blaze was put out in about 20 minutes.

No injuries were reported.

The exactly cause of the fire is under investigation.

Hardy Street was closed for the investigation. Commuters were advised to take an alternate route.
