JERSEY VILLAGE – A single-vehicle accident involving a wrong-way driver shut down all main lanes of Highway 290 near Eldridge parkway early Saturday morning, according to officials.
According to police, a female was driving eastbound on the westbound lanes when she slammed into a concrete wall.

The driver was treated for minor bumps and was arrested for an alleged DWI, police said.
The freeway has reopened.
