HOUSTON - Houston police are searching for a group of teens believed to be involved in a shooting early Tuesday morning in north Houston.

Investigators say 33-year-old Latoya Tolbert was leaving her neighborhood when she was shot near the intersection of West Road and Dogwood Tree Street.

She was leaving for work and it happened at the four-way stop, according to Tolbert's niece Kiana Harris.

Investigators tell Local 2 the victim stopped at the intersection and saw one male sitting on the left curb, one on the right and one who walked in front of her car.

Seconds later, Tolbert says her car was being shot at and she was also hit in the left hand.

The victim sped away and returned to her home to call 911. Paramedics showed up and rushed her to the hospital and investigators are searching for the suspects involved. They are believed to be between the ages of 16 and 20 years old.

The victim is expected to make a full recovery.
