KINGWOOD, Texas - A woman said she was robbed while waiting for her kids at a Kingwood movie theater Tuesday night.

Gabriela Amber told Local 2 she was waiting for her kids to come out of the Starplex Cinema on Northpark Drive when a man approached her.

She said the man tackled her to the ground and snatched her purse from her hands before taking off.

"I was standing there, talking on the phone and he tackled me from behind. I was not paying attention and he's a big guy," Amber said.

Amber is an accountant from Mexico City and in town on a work visa. She said she had her work papers, passport, keys and wallet in her purse.

Police describe the robber as a man in his 20's and was seen leaving the area in a red Ford Mustang with pin stripes.
