Woman, man wanted for credit card theft

HOUSTON - Authorities are searching for two people who stole a woman's credit card.

Houston police said on Friday, May 3, a woman's wallet was stolen from her purse in the 1400 block of Westheimer Road. Just before midnight that evening, an unidentified white female suspect was caught by surveillance cameras entering a gas station where she used the victim's credit card to buy cigarettes.

Officials said the next day between 12:20 a.m. and 12 p.m., the female suspect, along with an unidentified black male suspect, were seen twice on a surveillance camera at department and grocery stores. Police said the two made purchases with the victim's credit and gift cards.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspects is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
