HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A woman was found dead inside a northwest Harris County home on Monday, according to authorities.
Officers found the body of 32-year-old Karen Stewart, whose identity has not been released, around 5 p.m. in a home in the 6700 block of Seegers Trail Drive.
Police said a family member found Steward and called for help.
According to investigators, the victim suffered unknown physical trauma.
Stewart's father said he believes his daughter may have been stabbed.
"She was my pride and joy," he told KPRC.
On the same day, the woman's boyfriend was found dead in Waller County. Investigators said it appeared he shot himself. His identity has not yet been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
