HOUSTON – A driver knocked out a guardrail Friday on the Southwest Freeway near Weslayan in southwest Houston.
Police said the driver was driving a Dodge Charger along Highway 59 when she swerved to avoid hitting another car, lost control and hit the rail.

The front of the car was destroyed, sending debris across the road.
