Woman accused of offering bribe to trooper

Trooper said the women offered him up to $300 to release her

HOUSTON - A Houston women is accused of offering a $300 bribe after she was pulled over by a Texas State Trooper.

The trooper said he stopped Jaime Cook, 24, on July 28 and suspected her of driving while intoxicated.

During the traffic stop, the trooper said Cook offered him between $200 and $300 to release her.

Instead, Cook was arrested.

Cook is out of jail on $10,000 bond.

Cook is expected to appear in court on August 13.
