HOUSTON – A wild half hour police chase ended Wednesday with two people in handcuffs, police said.
A BMW that was reported stolen around 2Â a.m. was found on Broadway near I-610. Officers tried to stop the driver but he kept driving, police said.Â
Officers chased the vehicle down the loop and onto I-45 south. During the chase, the passenger's side front tire blew out and the driver exited the freeway and stopped at an Exxon gas station at Astoria. Â
Officers took the driver and passenger into custody.
The driver is believed to have a felony warrant for robbery, police said.
No one was injured in the chase.Â
