What you need to know: Astros' road to repeat

HOUSTON – Fans are getting ready for the ALCS matchup between the Astros and the Boston Red Sox starting this weekend.

“They’re two of the best teams in baseball -- Astros are the best team in baseball, though," said Zach Helms.

Helms is traveling to Boston for a wedding on Friday and plans on going to Game 1 Saturday.

"I stayed up and watched the game last night, I was like, ‘C'mon please. I want to go to Fenway,’ so yeah, really excited,” said Helms.

It’ll be a rematch of the ALDS last postseason when the Astros won the series in four games. Boston was on the hunt for redemption.

Houston fans weren't worried.

“These guys, they had a little bit of rest, a little warmup, I think I’m gonna say we’re gonna sweep,” Astros fan Deborah Gutierrez.

"We’re better than we were last year and we won a World Series last year. We’re deeper, pitching is better, so we’re doing great. We’re gonna get it,” said Astros fan Frank Osuna.

On astros.com, a limited number of tickets for ALCS games at Minute Maid Park sold out in just minutes Wednesday morning.

It’s been a busy time for Kayla Ramsey, of Midtown Premium Tickets, a Houston ticket retailer.

“There were very few available, most of them went to the season ticket holders,” said Ramsey. “It’s gonna be busy this year. We’re anticipating another World Series run.”
