What you need to know about 'The Voice' auditions at Minute Maid Park on Saturday

HOUSTON - Good things have been happening at Minute Maid Park.

The Astros had a World Series there.

And no Astros fan will ever forget Game 5 of the World Series, which was one of the best World Series games ever.

Now you can keep the good luck going by auditioning for one of the most popular talent shows on television at Minute Maid Park.

"The Voice" will hold an open casting call there on Saturday.

Before you start warming up your vocal chords, there are several steps you must take online at NBCthevoice.com.

People can’t just show up, right? They have to register online first?

Correct.

What time do the auditions start?

There are two call times - 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. The auditions go on until everyone has been seen, though the doors usually close to new people entering at 5:30 p.m.

Are these auditions for the upcoming season starting Feb. 26?

They are are for a future season of the show, most likely not the season starting next week.
