USPS carrier refuses to deliver mail to nudist community

Residents say carrier has 'fear' of seeing nudists

A mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service says he won't deliver mail to a Florida RV resort because the compound is "clothing optional."

WFLA reports the residents say a fill-in mail carrier refuses to enter Eden RV Resort and City Retreat in Hudson because she has a "fear of seeing people naked." The residents say they're irritated with having to go to the post office to get their packages.

"There's a postal creed and it doesn't say anything about not going into a nudist resort," a resident said. "I pay for service, and I expect service."

A USPS spokesperson released a statement saying the carrier has done nothing wrong.

"We can assure all customers that mail and packages are being delivered according to national centralized delivery requirements."
