Parents arrested for allegedly trying to sell kids for drugs

A couple in California has been arrested after authorities discovered they were allegedly trying to sell their children for drugs, reports ABC News.

According to officials, Vincente Calogero, 38, and Sarah Nilson, 32, attempted to exchange their sons for drugs or money.

The pair could face charges of felony child endangerment, child neglect and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

The county's Department of Children and Family Services has taken the boys into custody.
