Police administered a sobriety test to a man who found himself riding his horse onto a California freeway Saturday, reports The Associated Press.
California Highway Patrol arrested the man in Long Beach after they determined he was more than double the legal limit to operate a vehicle, registering a 0.21 percent blood-alcohol level. The man was charged with riding a horse while under the influence.
Guera, the man's horse, wasn't harmed and was returned to the man's mother.
