FedEx delivery driver meltdown caught on camera

Mayville (WISN) -- A Mayville homeowner is asking for an apology after a FedEx driver dropped her package twice and swore multiple times about her and the parcel.

Andrea Wendorf's Ring doorbell footage from Monday shows the driver tip the 144-pound package over, and let it crash to the ground next to her porch.

The video shows him drag the package through the snow in her yard, while talking on the phone with one hand.

The driver then tries lifting the package into the truck, swearing on the phone the entire time, then dropping the package from the truck bed onto the street.

"I don't understand. These people always get heavy ****," the FedEx driver said. "It's ****ing pathetic, every single ****ing day I have to deal with Justin, he doesn't put it in the right the right ****ing area."

The driver then hangs up the phone, lifts the package again, swearing profusely, and finally gets it all the way into the truck.

"****ing pick up ***damn ****ing ****," the driver said.

When the driver leaves, he yells one more thing out the window at Wendorf's house.

"**** you, piece of ****," the driver said.

Wendorf said she reached out to FedEx and sent them the footage, but never heard back.

"That's the first time I've ordered a couch. It's from Wayfair. Other than that, it's just boxes of normal stuff, if not huge things," Wendorf said.

Wendorf said she had ordered the couch twice, but both times FedEx had delivered it damaged.

She was having FedEx send it back when the driver came to pick it up.

"The frame was broken on it. So now we're wondering if it was broken because of the way they treat the merchandise," Wendorf said.

Wendorf said she just wants an apology.

"They're getting paid for it, they're getting paid to deliver large items, Wayfair sells a lot of furniture," Wendorf said.

A FedEx spokesperson sent WISN 12 News the following statement:

“The behavior depicted in the videos is unacceptable and inconsistent with the professionalism FedEx Ground service providers demonstrate every day in safely and securely delivering millions of packages to our customers. We are committed to treating our customers’ shipments with the utmost care and will take the appropriate steps to address this matter.”
